Why a personalised painting is the perfect Christmas gift
Most Christmas gifts are forgotten before Easter. A hand-painted painting of the family hangs on the wall for 50 years - and becomes an heirloom that is passed on to the next generation.
Heartwarming under the tree
When the family unwraps a hand-painted painting on Christmas Eve, the room around the tree goes quiet. It is the gift everyone talks about afterwards.
Hand-painted quality
Our painter Michael has specialised in portraits for over 15 years. He captures facial expressions and details that no print can.
Lasts 50+ years
Oil paint with UV-protective varnish keeps its colours beautiful for many decades. An heirloom that gets passed on - not a gift that ends up in the attic.
Especially for grandparents
For grandparents who have everything, a painting of their grandchildren or the whole family is one of the most meaningful things they can receive at Christmas.

Frequently asked questions about Christmas gift paintings
When do I have to order at the latest to make it for Christmas?
Our delivery time is 2-3 weeks from order. To ensure delivery before 24 December, you must order by 1 December at the latest. We recommend ordering earlier if possible, as December is our busiest month.
If you are running late, our gift card for a personalised painting is the perfect solution - you get it immediately, and the recipient has 2 years to choose the subject and size.
What does a Christmas gift painting cost?
The price depends on size: one fixed price per size - frame and shipping included. Examples:
60×40 cm: 495 CHF
70×50 cm: 645 CHF
80×60 cm: 810 CHF
100×70 cm: 1,095 CHF
The floating frame is included in the price, and shipping throughout Switzerland is free. Many families chip in together to give grandparents a large painting as a joint Christmas gift. See all prices on the product page.
Can you send the painting in discreet packaging?
Yes. All paintings are sent in a sturdy box with no visible logo or product description. The recipient only knows that a parcel has arrived - not what it contains.
If the painting is meant to be a surprise, you can also have it delivered to an alternative address - for example your workplace or a neighbour. Write your wishes in the cart when ordering.
Can you add late family members from other photos?
Yes, it is one of the most popular changes we make - especially for Christmas gifts. We can combine several photos into one painting, so that those who have passed away can stand together with the rest of the family.
Just send photos of all the people (the sharper the better) and write how you would like them placed. It is an incredibly meaningful gift when the first Christmas comes without a loved one.
What if the recipient is not at home on delivery?
We ship by insured, trackable parcel delivery (DHL/UPS) throughout Switzerland (2-4 working days from dispatch). If the recipient is not at home, the carrier leaves a notification; you can see the status of the delivery at any time via parcel tracking.
For Christmas gifts we recommend delivery to your own address, so you can wrap the painting yourself and put it under the tree on Christmas Eve.
