Does the photo have to be from the wedding itself?
No, not at all. Many wedding photos from the photographer are only fully edited 4-8 weeks after the day. You can use instead:
• An engagement picture
• A favourite photo from their travels or everyday life
• A professional portrait photo
• A private photo from an earlier get-together
If you would like to use the actual wedding photo, you can buy a gift card for the wedding and let the couple choose the motif themselves once their photos are ready.
How much does a wedding painting cost?
The price depends on the size: one fixed price per size - frame and shipping included. Examples:
60×40 cm: 495 CHF
70×50 cm: 645 CHF
80×60 cm: 810 CHF
100×70 cm: 1,095 CHF
The floating frame is included in the price, and shipping throughout Switzerland is free. Many wedding guests pool together to give a large painting as a joint gift. See all prices on the product page.
Can several guests pool together to give the painting?
Absolutely - it is actually one of our most popular wedding gifts. When 4-10 guests pool together, you can easily order a large painting (80×60 cm or 100×70 cm) that would otherwise be expensive for one person.
We can also send the receipt to a single address so you can split the cost afterwards. Add a note when ordering, or contact us if you have special wishes.
Can you add loved ones who have passed from other photos?
Yes, it is one of the most meaningful changes we make to wedding paintings. If the couple have lost a parent or grandparent who could not be there on the day, we can incorporate them from another photo.
Common additions: a different background, removing people in the background, combining several photos, adjusting light and colours. Just send photos of all the people (the sharper, the better).
Can you make it in time for the wedding day?
If you order at least 3 weeks before the wedding, we can usually make it. If you order later, we recommend our gift card - the couple receive a beautiful physical or digital gift card on the wedding day and can choose the motif themselves (e.g. their own wedding photos) once they are ready.
